With over a decade of experience in mental health education, training, and research, Venus is dedicated to fostering physical and emotional well-being through a holistic approach to community mental health. Her work spans diverse settings, including mindfulness training for corporate clients, professional groups, and university students. She is also actively involved in training and education programs for the general public in collaboration with non-profit organizations and family foundations. Her offering of therapeutic harp music in hospice care settings is well received by residents and their families to ease their physical and emotional distress.
Venus finds profound joy in witnessing personal transformations in the classroom and beyond. In a world filled with challenges threatening our physical, mental, and emotional well-being, she acknowledges the compelling need and value of promoting wellness through education to develop awareness, resilience, and compassion. Her passion lies in teaching mindfulness by integrating traditional wisdom and evidence-based contemplative sciences, supporting people’s flourishing of their true potential by nurturing a sense of kindness, compassion, joy, and wisdom.
She is currently a voluntary member of the Plum Village Mindfulness Academy, supporting the professional program development under the Plum Village tradition and the teaching of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
